We Participated in the Regulatory Compliance Conference
As GRC LEGAL, we participated in the 5th Regulatory Compliance Conference organised by the Regulatory Compliance Association, of which we are a member, and hosted by our colleague Ceren Beyen.
This year’s conference, themed ‘Compliance Codes for the New Era: Technology and Sustainability,’ comprehensively addressed financial compliance, sustainability approaches, information security, ESG regulations, and new era risk management processes.
The opening speech of the conference was delivered by Burak Şenol, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Compliance Association and Chairman of the Advisory Board of GRC LEGAL. The opening session evaluated the development of the compliance perspective, technology-driven transformation, and the impact of the new regulatory approach. Throughout the programme, public representatives, banking sector executives, consultants, and compliance professionals shared current practices, institutional needs, and expectations for the coming period.
Our partner Neşe Akmaz, Labour Relations Manager at ESAS GAYRIMENKUL / PROPERTIES, accompanied us at the event. We are delighted to accompany ESAS Gayrimenkul on its journey to spread its corporate maturity and compliance culture to wider spheres of influence.
We would like to thank the Regulatory Compliance Association and all stakeholders for organising this event, which enabled the strengthening of knowledge sharing within the sector, made areas of need more visible, and facilitated discussion of future policies and practices in the field of compliance.
At GRC LEGAL, we will continue to closely follow developments in compliance, digital transformation, sustainability, and data protection, and contribute to the field.
