We Attended the Microsoft AI Legal Summit

As GRC LEGAL, with the aim of closely monitoring global developments at the intersection of technology and law, we attended the Microsoft AI Legal Summit, one of the sector’s leading events. At the summit, which was attended by our colleague, Solicitor Ceren Beyen, the current implications of artificial intelligence technologies in the legal world, their impact on working practices and future transformation processes were discussed in depth.

In line with the approach highlighted at the summit—“Artificial intelligence will not replace lawyers; lawyers who use artificial intelligence effectively will replace those who do not.”—the integration of technology into the sector was assessed. Artificial intelligence technologies, which have long been debated within the framework of regulations, data protection, privacy and compliance processes, were addressed at this event by moving beyond the traditional approach to focus on concrete and practical applications within daily workflows.

It was emphasised that, in line with next-generation solutions, artificial intelligence has evolved from being merely a question-and-answer tool to becoming an organisational assistant that supports repetitive operational processes, optimises business management and enables professionals to use their time more efficiently.

We would like to thank the Microsoft team and all stakeholders involved for this successful event, which brought together industry professionals to present a vision for the integration of artificial intelligence into concrete business processes, whilst prioritising knowledge sharing and practical solutions.

As GRC LEGAL Strategy & Compliance, we will continue to closely monitor global and national developments in the fields of compliance, digital transformation, artificial intelligence and data protection, integrate them into our processes, and contribute to the sector in this regard.
