Data Governance Collaboration between THY Support Services Inc. and GRC LEGAL
Personal data protection is a multi-layered field that requires a holistic data governance approach across the organisation, within a dynamic and sustainable compliance culture, rather than being limited solely to the perspective of privacy and information security.
In this context, data protection compliance necessitates the simultaneous evaluation of corporate risk management, internal audit mechanisms, medium and long-term operational strategies, and decision-making processes at the senior management level, beyond daily document and process management. This structure, which is complex and interdisciplinary in nature, must be addressed with an integrated governance approach.
In line with this approach, GRC LEGAL has initiated a collaboration process with THY Destek Hizmetleri A.Ş. (Turkish Support Services) to implement a data governance and compliance vision at the corporate level, primarily based on Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK).
Within the scope of this collaboration, the project management, coordination, and methodological framework of the work to be carried out under the internal leadership of the Legal Directorate of THY Support Services Inc. will be executed by GRC LEGAL with a holistic and integrated approach.
We believe that this collaboration will make a significant contribution to strengthening a sustainable compliance culture in the field of data protection and governance.
